we got the power

newswarukraine:

This is Alice. She is four years old. For a month and a half he lives in a bunker under the Azovstal plant.

Her mother is a military doctor. Rescues “Azov”, marines, border guards and, most importantly, difficulties. They are also in the cellars under the Azovstal plant, for more than 50 days, elderly people and people with small children. In completely blocked Mariupol.

Look into her eyes. They are the whole war. All pain. She has very little chance of life. And her mother has no chance at all if she is captured.

It’s time for the world to wake up. As much as you don’t want to see it.

During the month, more than 300 people were taken hostage in the village of Yagidne

The occupiers kept Ukrainians in the school basement for a month. There was no light, no medicine, and people were allowed to go out for only a few minutes.

Ukrainians were forcibly driven to the basement, and in the middle of the night the drunk Russian military could come in. Eyewitnesses said that children painted patriotic pictures and wrote words from the anthem on the walls.

“They got sick and died here. There were still alive next to the dead. Famine. Thirst. Fear. Pain. Despair. Toilet on a bucket. Suffocation,"said Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.

three important things to remember right now:

1. do not share ANY information about the place, the state, and the members of Ukrainian army. don’t like it, don’t reblog it, don’t even write about it.

2. if you want to get information, do not look for carrds or twt threads. turn on your tv, read a newspaper, look for journalists and officials. do not trust random internet users and do not spread the disinformation and propaganda that is already circulating around here. double check every account you see talking about what’s happening before deciding to share it further.

3. listen to Ukrainians.

Dear Ukrainians!

I heard on social media that there is fake news being spread (most likely by Russia backed trolls) that polish border is closed.

ITS A LIE

If you seek asylum - go towards polish border. They are ready for your arrival. They have reception points ready at the border where you can find shelter, food, medical and legal aid. YOU ONLY NEED A PASSPORT!!!! VISAS ARE BEING SUSPENDED IN THE TIME BEING

The Polish government launched a site that tells you how you can enter:

In Ukrainian

In English:

I am NOT the original poster of this information and I don’t know if anyone on tumblr has posted it yet but I don’t want to take any chances.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REBLOG!!!! I DONT CARE IF DOESNT FIT YOUR BLOG THEME OR WHATEVER THIS INFORMATION CAN SAVE SO MANY INNOCENT LIVES

ONE MORE THING, IF YOU CAN TRANSLATE THIS POST INTO DIFFERENT LANGUAGES PLEASE DO SO TO SPREAD THE WORD EVEN MORE

I’m not sorry for interrupting your peaceful scrolling and I’m not gonna TW this. Ukraine is under attack. Russia is committing an act of military aggression rn.

Press your governments to sanction Russia to hell. Go protest their embassies. Support Ukraine in any way you can. Especially Russian citizens. If your ass isn’t doing anything right now, if your ass isn’t out in the streets this is your fault.

We shall prevail

I woke up at the sound of explosion. My daughter’s stell sleeping and I don’t know how to explain to her what’s going on.

If you’re not from Ukraine - contact your representatives. We need harsher sanctions for p*tin and his minions. Seize their riches. Cut them off swift. Refuse their oil. Also, here’s list of organizations you can donate.

Just do something. Staying silent now is a CRIME.

Look, I know this generation copes with humor and whatnot but it’s so sad to see how people can turn the situation in Ukraine into a meme. This is an actual country with people who have lives just like yours. It’s just strange to see people make jokes about it from hundreds of miles away, while people who live there are genuinely scared.
